Default Anyone used "Water Wetter" in their cooling system

As per the title, a mate over here in New Zealand is running this through his cooling system and raves about it.
Anyone here used it?. Pros and Cons?

Made bugger all difference to the temps in my car. Plus the one I used wasn't compatible with antifreeze.

ITs the heat trasfer properies specifically that it changes, doesnt realy alter the specific heat capacity as far as im aware.

So it doesnt allow your water system to hold any more heat, but it does allow it to release that heat to the radiator better.

Only ever of any use if your temp is going higher than you want with the thermostat fully open in the first place though of course!
Will make NO difference in any other situation.

Also do those of you that have used it.......
Do you still run, the old 50/50 green antifreeze and water combo?, do you just add this Water Wetter to your header tank and it does the rest?.

I used it prior to a track-day to try and help the water temps and it seemed to work....not a massive difference though.

If you've got cooling problems it won't solve them!

I used it in the saph to offset the slight increase in temps after fitting the RS500 cooler.

As Porkie said, it worked

I think my temperature gauge sits half way in between the "O" on NORM if I'm out on the open road and giving it shit, it's never gone above that though.
This is on a 2WD Sapphire, it used to be lower but since I fitted new Fan Switch, Temperature gauge sender, ECU temperature sender and Thermostat the tempertaute gauge has jumped up slightly

One draw back, it can burn.
Had the cooling pipe to the Turbo leak & it sprayed Wetter on to a hot Turbo.
Saw smoke through the bonnet vents, opened it & Turbo was alight, burnt off & went out in a few seconds, but ive not used it since, dont need flames under the bonnet on a Topspeed run.

I used it in the S2 - jsut for safety. The temp gauge always set reasonably low so I cant say I have data to say it worked. It works by reducing surface tension in the water molecules there by giving better heat transfer.

It just releases the tension on water dont it?? There's other makes that do the same thing as well on the market.
