had a look at your map, it says peak power 215bhp? it's got much less advance and much less fuel than the "base map"

also what do you do about your ISCV? we're a bit stuck on how to do it, but at the moemnt its completely disabled, which means it wont idle when cold i've GUESSED at the values (and where to type them in... lol) but it'd be nice to know what someone else is doing

also does yours really idle at 750rpm mine gets the occasional miss at 850, i dont think i could take it down to 750 without it missing

yep, its given me an even greater respect for the mapprs too, how on earth do you work so fast? you'd need lightning keyboard skills and stuff to livemap, as its all happening so quickly!

mine's being mapped by Dave Walker on the 10th of April. what i plan to do is mess about with the cold start 9which is currently non-existant... lol) and a little bit of the cruise type settings (ie cruising at 70-80mph) so i get half decent fuel consumption (using LC-1 + XD-1 wideband, same as the one youre getting just ni gauge format). I'll probably turn closed loop on aswell (but only have it activate on light throttle) that way it might stop a BIT of the borewash... lol

it WAS cruising at 70mph at 12.5 AFR it's now a bit more respectable at 14.5

You prob remember it as Spergeon Homes? IIRC it was a HUGE childrens home.

We moved there when they had only just started the new homes and a lot of the old buildings, war bunkers etc.... were still there. Very errie to think of the things that must of gone on there to all those kiddies

got her back!

drives fookin lovely on the motorway (rich as arseholes on part throttle tho) its got a horrible super-rich flatsopt at about 2k on light throttle (driving around town) but i can ge rid of that a bit later just need to find someone to drive the car for me

i've got an issue with the LC-1 9wideband lambda controller) not giving a proper wideband output on analog2, which means i cant get a wideband input on the ECU but i'm sure reading their forums will provide the answers i'm after

roll on 10th april for the mapping

and a BIG thank you to Mark for the work, it was a pleasure mate, and i'm sure i'll be back for something or other

You are welcome to come back any time for any thing and you know if i cant get the time off work your phone is gonna be ringing every 5 min on the 10th lol

ok, just heard from Kent Cams. 3 of my cams are ok, one's knackered, but luckily they have a spare

so i should have my new cam towards the end of the week

dropped the car off at Birkbeck earlier for all the other bits, shouls hopefully be ready by the end of thw week too

so hopefully by the end of this week ill be left with only 5 problems:

1) dirty engine bay (Benn's valeting car at the weekend anyway )
2) Cams that need fitting (bck to birkbeck the week after i expect )
3) Car needs mapping (booked in on the 10th april)
4) suspension needs setting up (where was it billy said i should go? i forget!)
5) I need a spare wheel/tyre! (got both, just need to put 2 and 2 together)

270quid inc vat for the regrind on all 4 (probably a little more as i'm getting 1 cam off them)

they recon it'll give about 15bhp, it'll be more to give good power at the top end, as as we both know, they dont breath very easily over about 5.5k

this should allow it to keep the power on well into 6k

we'll soon see tho
