You car should pull 3.9 0-60, 10.8 0-100, 12.58 1/4 and 157mph in 1.7 mile,
There will be a fault somewhere the chip you have is a very good one and should make 330hp.

Theres no chance of that just now Mark but if I could get those figures I would be very very happy.If Msd are too busy I will give you a call on monday if you dont mind and see if you can fit me in but I will get an auto sparky to check the wires first.

You cant realy check them you just need to cut them all out and deal with the corrosion as it comes,
It could take 1 hour or 7 hours that does your back in I done a few like that,
But also check all I have mentioned.

Will do Mark.The reason I bought the car was because I knew all the right stuff had been done to it but something just aint right obviously.It seems laggy and not responsive.Those figures are impressive.

 

Try 2.5k in 4th foot on floor by 3.25k you should be around 25psi.

sorry to hear about your troubles matebut yes itdefo sounds like you have a serious problem!!!! you should eat scobbys like that for breakfast easy. i kill p1 scoobys and even the new 300bhp ones with out trying to hard. if you were doing 90mph in 5th perhaps you were below your boost which would have meant the scooby would have beaten you if he was in a lower gear as others said i would also only be in third gear at 90 if i was trying against something else not 5th as it would not be very good for fast acelerating. if that makes sense. get it on a set of rollers for a quick run to see if your co2 is good and to check the power it might reveal somethings wrong or infact its all ok butgood luck ne ways

 

Tried the car in 4th and it was 25psi at just over 3k in 4th gear.The boost is very up and down.it boosts to 20psi in second and drops to 16psi and in 4th it only holds 17psi flat out.

 

is your actuatator knackered

 

The actuator is brand new from MSD about a year ago and the car has only done 3k miles since then but it does make you wonder about it.Ive been out at a 21st tonight and on the way home the scooby drove past me again but I was only walking this time

*Puts flame suit on* a lot of the WRX's are more than that now,330 bhp is a bit old,never mind the sti's which easily meet 350bhp with a simple ppp and a desent exhaust and induction kit,

Dont get me wrong here,i own a scooby, i also dont think it un-beatable but 300bhp is "old school" and soon even my shonky 02 plate WRX will be 350+bhp

when i competed at totb last year there was some very fast scoobys including that one from iceland but generally im saying i dont tend to find scoobys much bother, although there is a guy near me with an 03 plate sti and he has 420bhp and with all his electronic gismos he beats my 454bhp escos

Yes there are some tossers who drive the scoob but most of us are ok

 

im generally of the same opinion mate i can see the scoobs are getting quicker but i suppose its so easy and cheap to get the power from the cossie lump thats why you see more fast ones than scoobs. i got a very good friend who has a p1 and it is a very very good car. the thing i like about my escos as with the p1 is that you dont get to see many of them about and to be honest it woudnt matter if there was a scoob that was amazing as some of them are quite commen i prefer the likes of the p1 as its a bit more special the same goes for cossies there is 9 within a 5 mile radious but the next closest escos i know is 20 miles away.

so what im saying is instead of all that mines better than yours stuff i prefere the exclusivity of a car!!!! hence why i would never ever evr buy an evo!!!!!!!!!!

Things got very worse tonight.Got the car mot'd the other day and now the idle speed control valve has gone wonky.I took it off and cleaned it and it was much better but its still not right.I decided to take it for a spin and asked my brother to follow me.The car seemed fine so I let him past me and told him to floor it and that I would catch him up but I couldnt.His honda civic type-r blew me away .Car was only boosting to 20psi and holding 16-17 Twat I said.The joys of a stage3 cosworth that aint right.

check the hoses for any splits in them,got to be something up as its deffo not right.

 

No - all is not well! - my car is a stage 3 tuned by Mark (MADevelopments) and I can absolutely destroy a scooby P1 & I mean destroy. (he lives just down the road from me)

 

suppose it would be faster if there were splits in the pipes.

When you see the figures Mark has for this car and Im getting stuffed by type-r then its pretty depressing.The car is doing my head in.Ive emailed MSD to sort the job.
