Well of course its registered as an Azure you simpleton. If you insure it as a Azure then thats your choice
It doesnt detract from the car though does it.

It would make a cheap donor if you had a project.

its not a piece of shit its a cheap car that looks quite good,it has a cosworth engine so you have power, what more do you want ?
when you come to insure it you would have to insure as an azura but with modifications,
its NOT that bad IMO

what's the problem?? it's a half tidy looking Azura with Cossie running gear and trim, described and advertised quite correctly, at a very fair price if that's the sort of thing someone is looking for.. and they probably won't give a monkey's if it's 2wd on a K

well I have had an H plate glsi with a stage 3 cossie conversion, it was also 2wd and was red, had cossie everything done to it, noone thought it was a cossie, as it was bright red, noone thought it was fast, as it didn't look like a cossie, and in the short time I owned it, I had alot of fun in it, I ended up getting rid of it tho as I wanted a real cossie, but to be honest the only difference between the 2 was the log book.

as said it's a cheap cossie, if someone wants 1 but can't afford / won't pay to price for a log book, then this is ideal, and if your really bothered about what the log book says well it won't cost much to reshell it and then you have a REAL cossie for fuck all cash

Wouldn't that make a perfect donor car for someone to drive around in until they've sorted out their Mk1/2 Escort/Capri/Westfield shell out at which point swapping all the running gear over?

Sounds like a bit of a bargain - just depends on what the reserve is.

Cheers,

Andy

It says at the bottom that you can 'buy it now' for £2700.

the auction will end then.

Looks pretty damn good to me. So what if it's not a real cossie? Paul's isn't and it's one of the nicest/fastest around. I for one can't afford a real cosworth so i bought the S2 but if i wanted one i'd go for something along these lines til i could afford one/win the lottery!

What's the problem with it?

Just cos it's still registered as an Azure?
He doesn't claim it to be a genuine Sapphire Cosworth so what's the problem?
Bet someone will buy it & bung it on a Cossie logbook though!

Plenty of Cossie engined cars around from Fiestas, Mk1 & 2 Escorts, Transits, 205 GTi, BMWs, Mercs, even a Dolomite Sprint, the list is endless!

I THINK THATS PRETTY OK, FOR THE MONEY IT WOULD BE A HALF DECENT TRACK CAR, (opps cap lock) you can pick up a geniune cossie shell for penauts as well so it wouldnt be to hard to make a proper cossie out of all the bits, but i personally would cage it up and track it
