Why not?
The internet has a much larger audience than any other form of media and so will put the car in front of more potential buyers

I doubt the car will ever 'officialy' get sold through Ebay mate!
I'd guess that any real buyer will get the geezers number and go and see it an agree a deal there and then just like if he had advertised in the auto trader
