Default what do i do bout this?????? any bankers in the house?

ok, foned the bank and ordered some cash (large amount) went to the bank to collect it, went through all the security crap.... mothers maiden name passport ect and they give me my cash. 2 weeks later get a bank statment and it says....... 10 feb - paid out £****

the next line reads.......... 10 feb - correction paid in £**** (same as amount paid out)

basically they have paid out the money then put it back (ive got the cash by the way!)
do you think they will notice?? cos ive got quite a large sum of cash there that i shouldnt really have!!!!!!

im not going to tell them, just gonna withdraw it, put it in another account and leave it, and see if they come after me for it........

do you think they will?????

I've heard of people having this happen and the bank suddenly took the money back from the account leaving them way over their overdraft limit!

I personally would phone them up so they can get it reclaimed quicker, otherwise it's just going to be a temptation!

If I hadn't seen people screwed over by it before I'd say spend it though!

If you spend it it is classed as theft as you knew the money didnt belong to you

But fuck it i'd spend it anyway and worry later

Depends which bank it is. A few years ago I paid a sum of money into my account and it was credited twice. I expected it to be taken back but it never was.

As you said, just stick it into a high interest account and wait for them to chase you for it

Stick it in another account, let the interest pile up and after say 6 months i would spend away. That way if they come back for it you still have the interest
