Default BMW E39 Door handle

Slightly odd question guys,

Anyone know how to remove and refit a driver exterior door handle for the above 5 series ?

Can't find anything on the net for the outside only reference to the interior handle

As for most door handles it will envolve taking the inner door card off and doing it from within.

If you dont wanna buy a Haynes manual the best thing to do is go to Halfrauds and READ it

Tried the Halfrauds idea earlier, they were all bloody wrapped in cling film

No need to take the pad off ,open the door, on the inside behind the handle move the rubber seal and you will find a hole ,or remove a little blanking plug, inside you will see the back of the handle ,there is a slider you have to move(bit like the older models)and then the handle will come out ,the bottom will come out first ,in a twist motion if that makes sense.
Bit fiddly ,but not too bad
