what voids a warranty?
got a problem with my focus RS. where the trubo joins the exhaust maniflold it is blowing. i can smel the fumes int he car ewn i pull up to lights and stuff. i put it in a few weeks ago and they found nothing!!! cos they are tossers!!! since then i have fitted a dump valve and samco boost hoses. will this void my warranty?? just cant be arsefd to swap it all around again.

i think so mate....it really depends on the dealership. My dealership is great....they let me do what i like and still do things under warrenty

My guess is it would.
They will use anything against having to fork out £'s.
I wouldnt even chance ur arm because it might not be a case of them just saying tak eit back with standard parts on, they might refuse to honour any warranty work from now on because they know you have been under the bonnet.
It probably says in ur documents that any mods will need to be agreed upon.

Subaru say that if you have something wrong say a MAF failure and they think my induction kit have caused it,then it will void the warranty on the MAF.
why dont you ring another ford dealer and ask them to see what they think,you dont have to take it the dealer you rang up
