painting a front valance on my fiesta ..
its all welded on nicely and fillered-sanded in
rub the new valance down to metal(and bottom part of front wing),
1.spray primer on,
2.stonechip bottom part-ish. (about the bottom 2 and half inch isn't it?)
3.spray silver paint.
4.then spray laquer.
tell me whats wrong or right

Dont take it down to bare metal unless its rusty, just rough it up so the paint will stick.
If it is rusty then you will want to bare metal it and use a zinc heavy primer first.
