Default rst conversion?

i have a 1.4 escort van that in looking to convert to an efi rst, what parts would i need that i can get of my friends mfi cabriolet rs he's breaking, i already have the engine, could i keep my tank (its petrol) or would i need an rs tank? fuel lines etc? cheers

the tank will need a return i think....

Then everything off an FRST, loom, ecu, sensors, injectors etc etc

Post up in the FRST room and ask

You could get most of the stuff off an EFI 1.6 CVH Escort or Fiesta, not just a FRST.

Fuel rail, inlet manifold, injectors, cylinder head are all the same for a start as well as the loom itself which will plug straight into the ECU with just a simple change of the wiring.

You'll also need an EFI flywheel and if using an MFi bottom end you'll need to get a CPS hole tapped into the block as I believe the MFi bottom ends don't have this.

There's a guide on what would need changing on the loom side of things here... (2i loom is the same as EFI 1.6CVH Escorts or Orions)

I think you'll have to rethink the tank a bit though like has been said above.

im running efi and ilbe getting an xr3i loom and modifying that but wanted to know if id need the fuel pump? and would the rst tank fit the van? would i need the fuel lines to?
