Default 4x4 cosworth steering

can anyone help me i have a problem with my cosworth steering when it's cold the sterring is really heavy and lumpy, but once it's warm it's not to bad, i changed the oil about 3 months ago it was ok before that, does anyone which p/s fluid cosworths use as i think i might have been supplied with the wrong grade

Ford recommended power steering fluid spec is ESPM-2C-166H

did you sort this out mate ?

mines exactly the same but i think it may be the steering coupling. I'd be interested to know how you get on.

hiya mate,
i went to ford on saturday and got the p/s fluid that was recommended, i drained the stuff that was in it and used that and it's been spot on, must have been the wrong grade of fluid, however that afternoon i blew my head gasket on the m6 so yet another problem on the money pit that is my cosworth, i don't believe it

sorry to hear, i know what you mean about a money pit. i'll maybe change my fluid then and see how i get on.
