I think that's a pretty looking cab to be honest !! Lovely colour and the wheels ain't that bad ! Maybe get a lowering kit but don't go any more than a 25mm drop or you'll ruin the ride and handling but if you don't fancy that - I'd put the grand towards something else !!!

depends what you want from the car? looks/ style or performance?

judging by the fact its a cabro i would say looks/style after all it is a posers car lol

so lower it and find yourself some gti skirts, that should be a good start.

Please make side repeaters your first purchase. After that I'd get a set of coilovers and slam it with a nice set of rs2000 skirts. Do mk5 rs2000 skirts fit onto this shape?

I don't think it looks bad as it is.

Lower it £300
Smoked repeaters £20
Decent exhaust (not PowerFlow) £300
Induction kit £100 (or Panel filter and drill the air box £40)
Alarm £300

Definately the last one though as some fucker will have it away otherwise

Factory alarms aren't worth shit mate. A garage near me was shut down as they were hiring new cars and were then dismantling them to see how to bypass the standard security. It was the biggest ringing outfit in the county

K&N induction kit - £87
Spring kit - £84 (plus 3 hours labour at £45 an hour)
Magnex £290

All prices from Amber Performance catalougue

Not sure about Central as we are sorting houses at the mo

I was guestimating and when guesstimating I always leave plenty of margin for error. I'd rather over guess than have a PM to say he went with my suggestion and it cost him £1400 and he had to sell his mother to raise the extra cash
