Has anyone got the Collins engine monitor (copy of the pectal) and is it worth the asking price?

i have one, and it is a very decent piece of valuable equipment especially seeing as you cant really get hold of pectel monitors too handy these day unless spending big money.

Please be aware they will only run with a Collins chip unless your mapper knows how to switch it on.Very easy to install as they plug into the diagnostic plug.Avoid the pro version if you are not clued up as you shouldnt be tampering with fuel and ignition!

It will work with ANYTHING that runs Pectel or Compatible serial datastream enabled software.

Ive got one and you dont need a collins chip. Thats total bollox.

I run a P8 with Pectal board and it works fine and non collins chip.

Great piece of kit I think.

I have one in my 3 door. Is the pro version and worked with the unknown chip that was in the car (L8 ecu) as well as the new chip I got from Stu.
