The sad loss of a good friend
I lost a dear friend yesterday in a horrific accident .
I dont know quite why i am doing this post as nobody from here will know my mate as he is not into cars in any way , why i dont know but doing this is in a way helping me deal with this , I think that even tho its a keyboard i feel as though i am talking about it for the first time , and as i dont want to talk about it to anyone face to face i suppose its helping me .
He was a special friend in many ways and although i didnt see him every day i knew that no matter what, if i needed him he would drop anything for me ( and anyone else who needed him ) and it was never for any other reason than because he wanted to .
I will miss him more than i would ever have imagined and dont know how i will get through the next few days , but know i will always remember him for the great bloke he was .
Sadly his wife Vannesa was there when he was killed and i just dont know how she will deal with the horrific way in which he died , but all i can hope is she will get over it and her and the 2 boys will carry on and remember him the way i will .
So all i can say is Vanessa , I am so sorry and whatever you need you only need to ask ,
And to my mate ,Graham johnson , ( budgie ) I will miss you but never forget you
My thoughts are with your wife / 2 boys and the rest of the family , R,I,P

Thankyou peeps
I will have many good memories of him but sadly they dont replace the good times i would have had if he was still here with us ,
I have just sat about today thinking about him and honestly feel a lot better since i wrote this post and although i will have another sleepless night and shed another bucket of tears i will try to think of the great times i have had with him
Thanks again for the replies

Thanks Mate
I went home and just sat in my garage and looked at my toys and had a little giggle thinking of what he would always say to me when he saw my cars ,,He thought they were great deep down but always took the piss about how i looked after them like children ,
I just wish i could here him take the piss again
Its the little moments like that , that make you smile and help you through it .
Thanks again Max

bad time Paul, i've lost a couple of really close friends, its sad at first, then confusing trying to figure out why they were taken from you, then it starts to sink in, if you feel like crying, cry, if you don't you get the worse headache.
after a while you accept what has happened but even 9 years after one of my friends died sometimes i think about him & get upset, in a way i'm glad that happens because at least i didn't forget him after he departed from this life
r.i.p. to the passed souls.

Sorry to read this Paul, life seems so unkind and unfair at times, especially times like these. Ive lost most of my close Friends and family through death one way or another and remember your pain.
Time, whilst it does'nt feel it now, is the only healer we have been given for wounds like this... and whilst it does a very good job, you just cannot rush it sadly, so hang in there pal.
As with all your friends and aquaintances, im only a phonecall away if you wanna scream at someone...

Sorry to hear mate. Most of us can probably appreciate where you are coming from and can be an ear if you want to talk on here. Time does help but losing someone suddenly is the worst way. Lost someone fairly close to me nearly a year ago and it takes a while but as Stu says, time is the healer.
