I bought a car the other day, just a breaker off the net and i get it home and find it has a flip front sony CD player in it, a CDX-M610 but u have no remote or anythink when u plug it into my car it just says code! any ideas much appreciated guys

 

well you need to find out the code to put in get in touch with the seller and to flip the face down there is usually two buttons either side of the unit that light up blue press the left one

 

waS THROUGH SOME AUCTIONS, SO NO HOPE THERE WHEN pressed the buttons nowt happens

 

i think you've been sold a dud

 

No mate it was bought in a salvage car, was even expecting it to have a casette, car was only 250.Think i was told i need a remote or i can get it "un coded"

 

perhaps but i have the same stereo and when it asks for the code i have to press the button to get the face to flip round to put it in try a local audio place they should sort you out cant see it costin much either
