Well ,,,,,,
I was told by the rsoc registrar that mine was classed as a ford built Motorsport version
There are Trimmed shells ( only sold in white ) No sealer etc
Motorsport road cars ( sold in various colours ) No elecys, rear windows , recaro seats / rear headrests ,,came sealed and stone chipped underneath ( as a std car was )
Std road model , ie , all electrics , recaro cloth etc etc
Lux model , ie , all electrics etc and leather
Monte , cloth m/sport trim and oz alloys
THERE ARE DEFO 2 TYPES OF MOTORSPORT VERSION
trimmed shell and complete car

Surely Ford made a few special order ones which probably have all kinds of spec sure I read about a normal lux in jewel violet that was classed as an SV
Also anyone remember the rhd yellow one with the wings seats at National Day (either last year or the year before) there was also another yellow LHD one at national 05.

According to Ford the yellow car left the factory as Radiant Red. But i have seen a few LHDs in Zinc Yellow. When i looked them up i couldnt find any data regarding what colour it was painted in from Ford. But zinc yellow was an option on the convertible and they were built at the same plant (Karmann) so they could be special orders.

That yellow one which was opn the Escos parade lap, was a publicity car for Ford IIRC, I think it was how the Monte was going to be sold IIRC... Had a completely different interior etc
