Does anyone on here repair computers?
I had to go and buy another new laptop on Weds (Sony) as mine died
It is a 2 year old HP pavilion and the wire that goes through one of the hinges and then plugs in beneath the screen has pulled out of the 4 pin plug! Everything still works except the backlight which obviously makes it useless!!
Does anyone on here repair them or know anyone that does as its a fookin good laptop and only slightly lesser spec than HP's latest spec one!
Cheers Spadge...

ah good. Funny when I've seen people get a shock at work LOL
Take a picture of the invertor and also what make is the LCD? One out of another laptop might fit. What make/model is the machine?
Failing that then direct with HP but I can't see them being cheap. Should cost more than about £35 - 50 to repair including parts from most normal places.
Already have mate and didn't although it does have a plastic casing thing over it!
