OMG anyone else suffered from this? Well last Sunday i went to watch the Rugby were i spent about 13 hrs of solid drinking and i got into a right mess as i only had some brekie that day!! I know its not a good thing and i got to say im not proud to get into that state and hopfully never will agian as i have been so ill since Sunday and still am really Normally i know my limits but shit me one min i was fine and the next, think it was the fresh air when i finally was going home In the night nearly made the call to go to Hospital as was that bad, but didnt in the end as i got to be nearly on my death bed to go to Hospital as i hate them .

So anyone of hear had Alcohol posoning or even their stomach pumped?

 

yep had it twice had my stomach pumped the first time.both times were from drinking spirits not a nice experience

 

I just got out of hospital last night, decided to drink a bottle of vodka within a hour without eating anything apart from a pizza at midday. My mates told me that i hit my head so hard on the ground they felt sick and thought i had cracked my head open. I woke up this morning in tears because i didnt know where i was and i had the heart monitor on me and the drip on the other side and i was still drunk. They kept we waiting another two hours because i had to see some counciller because they asked if i have ever self-harmed myself, i said yes, but something over a year ago and now they have diagnosed me with depression

Apparently i was on the oxygen mask all night, i had to be pinned down to the bed when they were trying to put all the needles in me, shouting abuse at my mum telling her its her fault i've ended up like that.

To be honest, i dont know why i didnt have my stomach pumped, but hey-ho. I got cuts, grazes, bruises, torn ligaments in my foot. So im not very able to walk without crutches, my problem is i DONT know my limit.

When i was 15 (and this isnt a dig) as times change, but i was drinking merrydown if i was lucky!!

I drank 13 double vodka's on my sisters 20th a few years ago and was ill for days after, not a nice feeling

A couple years ago we bet one of my mates £20 that he wouldnt drink a pint of aftershock.......................................t he stupid twat did it though and ended up having to go to hospital and have his stomach pumped

The thing was the taxi home from the hospital cost him nearly £25 so he actually ended up out of pocket for doing it

 

It's bizarre that people count how many drinks they have and actually remember the next day how many so clearly, but fuck all else.

Parents were out of town for my birthday weekend when I turned 16 and a friend and I thought it might be fun to see just how drunk we could get.

Not the brightest thing we've ever done.....

We killed most of a bottle of everclear (190 proof) between us and I puked most of it back up. Over the next 8 days, I lost about 17 pounds since I couldn't keep any food down. It was UGLY, and I didn't have 17 pounds to lose at the time.

To this day (23 years later) I still can't smell everclear, or I toss my cookies on the spot.

 

went out like last august i think

drank about 5 pints and 6 or 7 bottles ok vodka kick and had 2 house vodkas? thats all i can remember drinking but other lads i was out with said we drank alot more.
then smoked a quite alot of one thing.

it all seemed fun at the time, cant remember anything that happened later on like when we got home. I supposedly fell in the bath?

i know i couldnt eat much for a few days after as my stomach still felt dodgy. I never want to drink that much again in my life.

 

i was in hospital over night when i was 5 with alcohol poisoning....my sister was much worse than me though (she was 7 at the time) and they nearly pumped her stomach.....cant remember much about it apart from the doctor/nurse coming round every hour to prick our fingers for a drop of blood. It was all my fault though...lol.....not long after xmas and i found all the booze stashed away and started tasting everything.....never had a hangover though.

Been there last eyar about 2 months after my ex splitting up with me and running off with someone else! Had 2 and a half bottles of Jack Daniels and numerous beers ended up going to the doctors with Blood poisioning and a kidney infection!


The bottom of every bottle problem wasn't solved!


None the less ended up ebign very ill for 2 weeks and had a huge rolickign fromy my Boss

 

Ive never got in that state, learnt my lesson when i was 15.

Got absolutely hammered on the millenium eve- one min i was walking with my mate, next it was hours later and i was on a bench asleep!!! Must have looked a right mess! Unfortunately, people can use that to their advantage and i have patchy memories of what followed.

But, i didnt have a hangover!!!

 

I learnt my lessons the hard way when I was 19 and nearly died after swallowing my tongue when i got so drunk I passed out for about the 10th time.

Good job I lived in a student hall full of medical students!

I used to drink a bottle of rum at a time to prove a point due to peer pressure giving me the perception that I had a reputation to live up to.


Its all about learning your limits, I learned my limits eventually and can now drink more just its spread out over a longer time and you need to know when to stop and have a few pints of water instead.

Also eat right and make sure youre not dehydrated. I found this out in Bahrain after having 2 pints of guiness at a cocktail party before in my infinite wisdom deciding to go walking for a pizza in 40degree heat without any water. I collapsed 5 miles later and never made it to the pizza shop.

Spiky was a fookin top day/night mate 13 hours on the piss with just having Brekie is not a good idea though Was soo dunny at the end though all dancing and signing lol.

 

I always puke it all up when I hit my limit (and usually before my limit )!! Although once I went to an all you can drink night and had a hangover for about 4 days

 

Yeah i did on new years eve 1999/2000. Was the worst feeling ever, puking up every 15 mins for about 8 hours even after all that i had drunk was gone. Ever since then i cant touch a drop of vodka, even the smell of it takes me right back to that night and i feel sick at teh thought of being that ill again

Stick to Beer now, and not too much of it cos im a lightweight (before anyone else posts it up )

ewwww vodka-not compatable with me.
Its the only thing that gives me a hangover. Can drink VK but not Smirnoff Ice, and as for vodka shots Had 2 one night nearly puked the second id swallowed it and was sick 7 times the following morning!!!
