grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr dont you just fooking hate them.

do you sit up and say something (even though you know it will not do any good because the person in question lies and manipulates others and act so fooking innocent)

or do you just keep quite and wait for the big day for the whole truth to come out??? (quite a few people already know this person is a freak and a liar)

also a point to bear in mind, a few friends believe the lies too and are becoming a bit gullable and I dont like friends being made to look silly!!

I have one, he lies about everything, he said he got a new job at this building firm labouring fair enough, then a few weeks later hes a civil engineer at the company (no qualifications) next he says he's being trained up as the next boss as his is retireing now he's believes hes on Ł600 per week as a civil engineer but the best part is the company he works for does office refurbs

i dont care how many people hurt me with names or rumours that they spread - but Lying is really bugs me!!

I really feel like saying something, but this person knows they can wrap alot of people round their finger by acting innocent and saying "poor me poor me", telling only part of the truth so it makes them look like the hard done by one!!

actually, now i've just wrote it, i feel quite sorry for them cos they really are a sad human being having to lie as well as tell only selected truths!!

ok, so none of us can say we have said the whole truth 100% of the time (well i'd never say that i've never lied)

but if someone is going to get slated because of the half truths/lies thats being told then that really does show the mentality and how totally fooked up a person is

i just dont understand why they think people wont talk and the truth wont eventually come out

this is whats so annoying - even though you have proof, people like this can still get away with it if they spoke the truth because they have a sl*t nature about them that any person of the opposite sex would still jump on it, but they just continue to lie!!

I've found the best thing with compulsive liars is just to invent stuff to ask them...has to be fairly realistic not "so how do those diamond slippers you bought fit anyway" and watch them desparately try and crawl out of it or most of the time carry on as if it were true!!

I went out with one for two years.

Lied about -everything- and neither me or any of my friends suspected a thing.

You need to be careful confronting them because you may find all those people supporting you on the subject suddenly sit on the fence and it becomes your word against theirs.

Personally I am of the opinion that you should sit back and wait. You don't really want to make an enemy of someone like that.

A compulsive liar is afraid of the truth. They will tell lies and actually end up believing the lies they tell, is the truth.

It's a disease really, they have a very low-esteem of themselves, feel insecure, attention seek etc etc and confronting them about telling lies, does not always work. A compulsive liar will even continue to lie, even when the truth is in front of them in black and white.

The only way it can be dealt with, is for them to agree to seek professional help.

It's hard to know whether you should pity a pathological/compulsive liar or just get mad and angry....

Thing was the stuff he used to come out with was utter b*ll*x and everyone knew!! It was horrible sitting there listening to him waffle on to my mates about how he'd done this, had that, seen this,,,,if anyone had ever done anything he'd always done it better or bigger or got whatever!!

I do feel sorry for them in a way,,,,its like either they are trying to impress people in a way,,,or again feel sorry and pity then

People will really start to see people for what they REALLY are, and not who they THINK they are

Just a shame some people do get hurt and used in the process of things,,,thats the most upsetting part!!
