Please help, my saff is going to have some major work done this year which I hope will include a strip down paint job, I am considering a colour change from diamond white to smokestone blue, would anyone have any idea of the costs involved, I was looking at a budjet of 5K, also where i might get the job done, I am prepared to pay for a qulity job. opions on colour change would be good, many thanks all

Not sure on costs mate, but at the end of the day its your choice if you change the colour.

Smokestone is a lovely colour though

Be careful who you use if going for smokestone as it is pearlescent colour.
Most body shops are having to use water based paint now and it is not an easy colour to get right.

I had a full everthing off respray and body restoration carried out by a top paint shop who work on Ferrari's and Porsche's cost just over £5k. Made Fords original finish look crap, worth every penny IMO.
