Default VIN NUMBER FROM THE REG MARK?

Can you obtain a chassis [VIN] number from the reg plate for free or do you have to perform an HPI check?

I may be wrong Cam, but I don't think HPI will tell you the VIN/chassis no. from the Reg' - you have to tell them the VIN etc. and then they'll confirm (or not) the details.

Cheers Steve. I dont actually need one checking just wanted it confirmed that the VIN can be obtained for free by a VRM check.
