why do you have lambda sensor
I keep on seeing cars with this lambda sensor in the downpipe.
What is this for?
I know its proberly a stupid question that everybody knows the answer too but I am curios.

they are usually there for the ECU- it uses the sensor to measure the air/fuel ratio, and adjusts it accordingly. Also, they are used when people have an air/fuel ratio gauge.
