Default How does an rst inlet plenum work ?

Bored at work so doing a lot of reading on here, but how does the mfi inlet work ? i mean is it efficient ?

in the way that a manifold on a n/a cvh is restrictive whereas a four branch is a lot better flowing would a four branch shaped inlet be better flowing on an mfi engine ?

Theres probably a really simple answer for it but cant think of it so thought id ask

the shape is merely a space consideration as the air comes over the engine and into the back of the head
