okay, hows this sound..... 20th Sept to 25th Sept (5 nights) at the Milford Plaza, West 45th Street, NY - Ł645, which is $1124....
Not that cheap But Taryn says it's nice down there and the Hotel looks really nice.... but with air fare I'm looking at Ł1000 before I even get there!

Oooooooh.... Ł735 all in : flights, hotel, the lot (alledgedly)
Says the hotel is Pan American Hotel, 79-00 Queens Boulevard, Elmhurst, NY 11373 (if that means anything to anyone) : 5 nights, direct flight from Heathrow to NY, another direct flight from NY to Heathrow (both with American Airlines)
Map of the place (again if it means anything to anyone, I dunno lol)

I went in April 2004.......absolutley loved it, shame i haven't got a scanner because i took so many pictures. I stayed in the Roosevelt Hotel, only a couple of avenues away from times square i believe. I only went for 4 days, the day we got there it was hailing and all sorts.....the rest of the weekend i got sun burnt.....some twisted weather out there but i loved it. We got a lot done in them 4 days, went on the boat that took you to liberty island....done the empire state, central park on the horse and carriage, times square, maceys, all the designer shops , urm, done all the classic sights, china town, ground zero, grand central station....i loved it for some reason, i think it was the fact i knew that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones had been in there , but i really really want to go back i loved it!

Girlfriend works for a company that advertises hotels for conference meetings, all around the world so they offer free rooms to them
Cousin works for Virgin and got me Friends and Families discount.... Flight prices are actually only Ł100 but have to add on tax, air-fuel etc etc So we're only paying for the flights

Hoboken is ok, it's kind of a yuppy crowd though. It's changed a bit. I used to be a DJ in this place called "The Cadillac Bar" I was the main DJ when they opened and did that for a couple of years. It's gone now something happened to the building itself and it had to be torn down.
Good thing is that there is a lite rail (very quick and local above ground tube) that goes from where we live to Hoboken.

new york is wicked, Kacey loved it so much she pretty much asks me every day to go back there, and she was only 3 when we went 1yr ago.
I stayed in the belverder (spel?) hotel which is right next to times square and it was fooking wicked place to stay in, well busy, (breakfasts were soooo cooool) ground zero was sereal, did all the sights, statue of liberty etc, couldnt do the helicoptor cos Kacey didnt want to back then, but a mate did it and said it was superb.
cant wait to go back again best hol ever imo

Mongo, Hoboken's always been a "College Town" All the bars are right off Washington St (couple blocks from the Hoboken Path where all the Taxi's are. Expensive for a boat ride from Wall st to the Path?? did you go to Jersey City Path or by the Hoboken one? To go to Jersey city is only 4 dollars.
