Default Central locking prob.

On my 4x4 saph coz,i can lock and unlock from the passenger side but on the drivers side it just locks then unlocks.

on the inside of the doors do the locks hav a plastic ring round them which is 2 do with the central locking maybe that is playing up or on its way out

Pass m8,it works fine for weeks then plays up for a day or two.

Yeah it does m8,the door lock on the passenger side feels "crunchy" comopared to the drivers side.

that could be due 2 the passenger door lock not being as worn as the drivers side lock,it sounds like sumthing in the catch could b sticking and causing the central locking 2 think that maybe the handle is being held up or the door isnt shut properly,maybe take the catch out of the door and clean it up and soak it in sumthing like wd40 or sum thin spray grease,it could be that the old grease on the catch could b clogging it up a bit when it gets cold

I've had the same problem with my 2WD Sapphire.
The only thing that stopped my doors locking and unlocking continuosly like a crazy robot was when I disconnected the boot locking motor from the equation.
Pain in the arse though as I now have to manually lock and unlock the boot with the key
