Not that i've noticed but some people may have known each other before they came on p/f.

 

no this place is not clicky...too many members and users ...RSBB was the place for clicky you had several groups of people bantering and if you tried to join any of them you were made to feel like a turd in your pants.

A lot of people on here have been here for a while
and know each other Personally,, not just here on the net (so to speak)
thats perhaps why it appears that way?

ALTHOUGH that said, the Few people that i have met from here
seemed genuinely nice people.

One thing i will say you do get some arse lickers on here that jump on posts just to have ago IMO

To be honest yes it is ...... but it's like this there are loads of people on here that know each other personally from going to venues /trackdays and from the Rs owners club sceen so maybe thats why i don't know

It is a bit... But as someone else said it has to be expected, as so many people on here know each other...

That said if someone new comes on and sprouts a load of bollox there gonna get slated, whereas someone coming on and just getting involved will be accepted quite quickly

 

yes for sure, you just have to look at how some threads have loads and loads of replies on them even tho the thread content is crap whereas others which have the potential to become a really interesting read are just ignored at times.

 

just to set the record striaght all forums are a clicky no matter what site you go on you are either in or your not

Yes I think it can be, but only post twice a year.
Have a good read hear & there, take in the gos, appy wiv dat though.
Everybody always very helpful with genuine stuff.

 

 

Thats the key to why it isnt cliquey in my opinion.

Of course some groups of people who know each other are going to be more inclined to chat to each other as they all have common witty little remarks etc they enjoy sharing, but the important thing is that if you post a technical question then no matter what group people might normally be a part of they will still post to help you

 

I can honestly say that passion ford is the only forum i have come accross that is totally the opposite of clicky and ive been a member on hundereds of sites not just cars etc even ran a few !
This imho is the very best internet forum ive come accross, ive even persuaded mates who arent even into fords to join and they even find it a very helpfull and friendly site. Ive learnt so much on here and so many peeps have really helped me out when ive been stuck.

It is a clicky forum in my opinion but there are plenty of well known members who take the time to help newer users. For instance I was never on the RSBB but many of the popular users on here have helped with advice and bits, if PM'd.

I find the best way if I need something, I introduce myself to them and ask the question via PM. 99% of people reply and are helpful.

I wouldn't say it's clique. A clique is an exclusive group that doesn't like outcasts coming into it. Passionford on a whole doesn't do that.

 

Fact of life realy, u spend time speaking to a lot of people and thats that, people who dont post often cant expect to come on a thread and for peeps to say "alright mate, hows it down there or hows the car coming" if they dont know fuck all about them

 

I dont think its bad at all there are some really knowledgeable people who will always help you out if you have a problem, i like it here and i know these people are just as good to have a laugh with in the flesh as i have found out so far
