you mean the stuff to improve grip? i have heard of people applying it overnight and wrapping tyres in clingfilm to hold it in, then next day tyres are ready for racing ( never heard of it for road applications though )

My mate bought some stuff like that from Autosport a couple of years ago - to use on his 2 stroke Kart. (came in a yellow bottle - if thats the same stuff).
Admittedly he used on some cheap crappy tyres - but they fell to bits in one race!!
They usually last for 10
