ok ill start again and try explain better!

yesterday i restored windows xp, and i have got no sound since...

i cannot even watch vids as it says something about hardware


click on details and it says there isnt a sound card installed...


any help? i dont really wanna buy a new sound card!

Is this in Windows Media Player ?

I assume your sound card drivers are installed correctly ?

 

i didnt realise id have to reinstall them after i rebooted my pc... i cannot find a cd for reinstalling them...
