Ford TDCi Engine
Has anyone had any problems with the 1.4 TDci engine eating the shells up and buggering the crank too?
Im pretty sure there is a fault with these engines as Ive come across 2 others that have doen it and Ford wont admit to it. Problem is im just 4k over the 60k warrenty limit as it happend!!!

i work at peugeot and they also use this engine (although they call it a 1.4 HDi)
Havnt had any bottom end problems but they suffer with top end cam rattling, we have to fit a spacer (as a recall) on they cam bearings to stop them floating about!
Proper shite engines!
