Default S1 AND S2 ECU's?

i got a standard ecu for sale, its an S2 one BLUE RED BLACK, the guy wants one for his S1 can he plug it striaght in and work??

i forgotten which way round you can swoop the ecu's for s1 and s2?

It will run tthe car but without having a knock sensor it will back the ignition timing right off......

ok cheers mate will tell the person to leave it then

so its S1 ecu's that go on any ERST's? as they have no knock sensors

Correct.

As long as you mean the ignition ECU as the fueling ECU is unique to the S2 or the S1.
