Iam looking to buy a snap ethos code reader and have noticed that some come with the keys and some without. What is the purpose of the keys??i have a cheap code reader that you just plug in to read the code, can you still use a ethos tool with out the keys??

 

Depends which OBD lead it comes with, but I have about 35 different chips for mine and only use about 10 of them
