Default How to paint a plastic bumper?

Hello,
I have a Escort van and yes i know you can pick primed bumpers off ebay for £40 but my friend is willing to do at his friends body shop. I've got to supply all the products though so what exactly will i need? I'm also spraying the back 1/4 bumpers up, so for free labour it ins't too bad

basically needs to be spotless, apply plastic primer and the rest is the same as other paintwork. probably be someone along in a while to say something different. if your mates friend has a bodyshop he should know for sure.

Red scotch . Plastic primer . Normall primer . And some 600 wet and dry to rub the normall primer down . And then you will need your base coat and Laquar . Job done

Sorry my bad forgot thinners and hardener maybe get some rocket in it while your on haha .. I havnt been in the body shop for a good couple of years now must be a bit rusty

rocket is useless

in work i da bumpers with 320-500 grit with a soft interface, degrease, coat of plasticizor, 2 coats of high build then bake

dry sand the primer with 500-1000 (depends on what colour the bumpers going) grit on a da with soft interface, blow off, degrease, panel wipe, basecoat, clearcoat, bake
