I've got a crack at the top of my front windscreen, i'm sourcing a replacment how ever I want to do the work my self to save cash, how difficult is it??

is there a guide online anywhere i've had a good look but can only see heated rear window replacment,

 

Do you not have windscreen cover?

 

so simple swaped mine start to finish in under half hour ,the good old string in the rubber works well ,can be done on your own ,but 2 would be easier ,if your using your old rubber ,chances are the window will crack up if your cracks close to the end ,make sure there is no glass splinters left in the rubber ,other wise when u fit your new one it will break ,

I was about to type out a reply about fitting, but then realised this thread is from 2012...

 

Easy as Fook on one of them just watch the head liner as it's easy to make a right mess if you un fold it from the aperture as you string it in
