Im picking my escort 3i cabrolet up this weekend.

It was used as a weekend car, been kept in a garage ect, also had a brand new roof.

However, has been sat, unused for 6 years in a blokes garage.

Its in pretty good condition, needs a small patch on each sill at the back, one door bottom and the battery tray is the worst bit.

Il get the welding done. Take it i can buy a new battery trsy pannel??


As for the engine, do i rebuild and freshen up the orginal cvh, or do i go for a 2.0 zetec??

I can imagine this would be a better drive and more reliable?

If so, please could i have a shopping list and rough instructions before i attempt it?!

Keep it standard mate.
Worth more money in long run.
Cvh is a reliable and simple engine to run.
Hard too, love a thrashing....!!!lol
