Default xr3i wiring loom

im looking into buying another mk4 escort purely just for the shell as id really like 2reshell my 3i which i smashed on newyears day this year! (pisser)
i was wondering how difficult it is and what i need 2roughly do 2swap my loom over which has everything electric including front heated screen into a totally standard 13oo bonus shell with no electric goodies what so ever?

dying 2get my car back on the road as i have the chance of 2shells!
1which needs minor welding 2rear floor pan and bottom of wings and the other needs no work at all but have 2travel 2birmingham from scotland!
im in 2minds wether 2buy the cheaper shell (both full cars btw) which is closer 2me but needs the work or pay top dollar 4the minted shell but need 2travel 7hours both ways 2collect! lol! help me please! lol! :L:L

thanks 4any advice as always!

get the better shell imo if you're spending the money it's worth doing properly, as long as the shells are same the loom should pretty much flop straight in.

Wiring usually stays in roughly same shape when removed so it kind of settles into position by itself. Just remember what order stuff came out in and put it on new shell in reverse order. some stuff you learn there is a better order but only find out as you're removing bits.

Thumbs up

best thing would be to get a digital camera and take pics stage by stage at least that way you will see where everything is supposed to go
