Default Removing ABS

Hi ,
I want to remove the abs on my 3dr. Do I just take the ecu, loom and sensors off or there is something special to be done. Thanks

what do you want to acheive?

if all that you want to do is have no anti-lock, you can just pull a fuse or relay and it will be disabled.

but the abs is integral to the electrical pump on the master cylinder. if you remove that, you effectively have no power assistance to your braking effort, and the pedal will be very hard to push.

unless you know what you're doing with braking systems, don't piss around with them.

Why remove it why not fit a switch and be able to switch it on & off as you want .
On resovior lid. multi plug with two wires cut one wire fit a switch... Done
When switched on dash lights are off.
When switch off dash lights are on.
