Thanks for the pics, very helpful. I'm not sure I will be able t support the car on the sills without removing the side skirts unless i can get some big enough wood such as a railway sleeper

yeah cheeRS for the pics dojj aint gonna rest mine on the wheels though lol ill get som wooden blocks or ramps bit worried about takin side skirts off though dnt wanna find anything bad

Ive just cleaned all my sills and underbody up grunter, well worth sorting out any rust before it gets too bad. should be alot easier to get underneath with the rear beam and exhaust out of the way.

yeah point taken mate i already know ive got welding to do no the n/s rear chasis thats the main reason shes off the road think ya rite though take em off an give everything a good clean up

Grunter,

How did you get on taking off the beam ?

Did you have to remove the diff ?

When you supported the car did you remove the side skirts ?

Reason I'm asking is I want to take mine off to powder coat etc

yeah thats who i got mine off. And in reply to the chap above ur post, yeah you have to remove the diff to remove the beam as the diff is bolted to the beam...and if your gonna have it powder coat it then you have to remove it regardless lol Its well worth doing, ive just had all my suspension shot blasted and powder coated black and they look mint

Front strut top mounting - Ł10.40 set 2

ARE THESE WORTH FITTING??
someone told me they make a lot of noise is there any other probs with fitting these??????

i have fitted the full deflex kit about 6 months ago including the strut top mounts , really good not much road noise tbh ,

rite people finally my cossy is done an back on the road all bushes done all welding sorted totally different car to drive and to look at sorry no pics as my nets been disconnected but i recomend any one to do the job its fairly straight forward just use ya loaf lol
