Default 2wd front strut braces

Hi all after some 2wd opinions ,
i don't have a front strut brace fitted currently and i'm wondering if it actually makes that much difference on a sapphire 2wd also after heat shield options with braces fitted, any of you recently taken off a brace or added one and felt much change , advice and photos of them please !!

I had a custom made adjustable one made for the front and rear of my 2wd Saff by Spec-R. Very good quality and I am sure makes a difference.
