Rubbing when fitting cambelt cover
Folks,
My late 4x4 Saff never had a cambelt cover when I bought it, so recently sourced an original ford 4x4 one.
I’ve got the the 3 x mounting blocks that bolt into head, however when I fitted it to car, its evident its fouling on something. Strangely I can’t see any evidence of rubbing on inside of cover to give me an idea where to look.
Somebody mentioned a further mounting bolt that attaches somewhere near the water pump? Any ideas?
Thanks

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
On my 3 door, one of the bolts that secures the water pump to the block has an extended shoulder that the cam cover slots on to. There's also another mounting point right down by the crank position sensor.
I also had to fit a spacer behind the cover on the mounting point between the cam pulleys as the belt was rubbing on the cover after it came over the tensioner

Thanks lads, forgot to mention the bottom bolt. I had this bolted in as well however didn't seem to make a huge difference.
I'm thinking a small spacer like Big Del suggests might be the answer
