Should I go to a stage 2?
Easy all
So my 2wd is running a stage 1 been running that about a year now but want a bit more! Is it worth going to a stage 2 or should I go straight to a stage 3? I want to keep the standard turbo that's the reason I'm thinking stage 2.
Then I've got the problem of a descent 3 bar map sensor, I've heard bad things about the brands hatch ones so what's options? Second hand Marelli ones are like rocking horse s**t and are crazy money when they do come up.
Thanks chaps!

Id go straight to stage 3, your t3 will be fine at that upto 320bhp. Most genuine 3 bars are about £150, I've never used a BHP 3 bar nor seen a reputable tuner test one, I've seen his eBay add picture show him test them but they don't have any vacuum hoses attached so how can they be tested in the pic it doesn't make sense.
Take it your engines good?

Stick a t34 on it and a good intercooler and breather system they come alive at 350bhp. You can keep all the standard parts to one side

Ok thanks chaps! Will look into a t34 any recommendations where to pick one up? Engines good recent full rebuild so should be able to take the power easily.

You will need to change the injectors and actuator as well, in addition to looking at the breather system.
An alternative is to look into a 'Gunship' conversion, with a standard engine, this will make slightly more power than you have, but with the torque of a stage 2.

Yeah i know. I Asked Stu what i need to keep and eye on regarding temps etc.
Those guys asked what i thought it would be to which i replied anything over 350bhp but i have 400 lbft. First run resulted in wheelspin so it was tightened down more.
Then 421bhp happened and i asked is that correct 3 times while they was all looking amazed lol. And they are a jap tuner so no inflated figures for a ford taxi.
All i can say its good fun to drive.
