Does anyone know this 3dr?
Hi folks, Last wknd I bought myself a 3dr Sierra Cosworth in moonstone blue reg no C803 SRB.
The car is solid enough but needs tidying up, my intentions is to strip the car back to the shell and rebuild it so as I have a car which I know has been restored properly.
Thing is the car has not much history except old mot's and a folder of receipts for work carried out over the last few years. The car was exported to Jersey from about 1986 to 1989 then has been in England until it was brought to Glasgow last year. A long shot I know but does anyone know this car or any previous owners to see if I can get some more history on the car?
Thanks Derek.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Yes I know the car , used to be mines and the owner who sold you it got it from me , I bought it from a guy in Devon who was apparently selling for a nieghbour who was getting divorced etc , ( all the usual bullshit ) and it had sat off the road for a number of years , I may still have his details somewhere if I do I'll pass them on , but there was little or no history when I got it
Mark has a thread on here somewhere about the work he done to it

Thanks, much appreciated. I'm just starting to strip down the car to the shell, hopefully by next spring it will be fully restored.

I own this car now and found that car was originally registered in Germany not Jersey and Ford Germany owned the car for the first 2 yrs. What is really interesting is Steve Soper was the owner whilst in Germany. So a very interesting history! Plus it's a C plate so rare.
It was first registered in the UK in 1988.
Car is lovely now having had a full glass out resto amongst other stuff. Might be a keeper this one.

I think I would be contacting Steve Soper and offering him the car for a fat cheque. I used to work with a lady who had a zebra striped RS500 that was owned originally and raced by the McRae family, they offered her and her husband some big numbers for it back....I think her name was Jacqui Langley.
