Default My Pride and Joy

Just thought I'd share some photos of my latest acquisition, a mint 1988 Sierra 2.0 EFI Ghia in Radiant Red.

48k Miles from new, original bill of sale, a massive folder of service history, all tax discs and MOTs, garaged by the same owner for the first 22 years... a real gem!

Put new wipers on all round, changed the yellow Motorcraft candles for some Ultra Brilliance +120% bulbs (what a difference!) and ordered some new boot struts (from Latvia!?) because the original ones no longer hold the boot lid up.

The light on the key didn't work, and when I took it apart the battery had "Made in West Germany" written on it... so I think it was past its best!

Just need to sort out some new 185/65/14 rubber for the pepperpots and do the front discs and pads.

Drove her home from South Wales on Saturday and she never missed a beat.

Enjoy

Looks nice and clean, it's had some work on the front though the original seam sealer is missing from the wings etc, still a nice car.
