Trying to pay with fake cash has its own implications. You don't happen to know any of his other customers do you? If he hasn't reported a break in then either he doesn't want the cops to get involved as he isn't as straight up as he makes out or it's because it's someone who's broke in to get their own parts back and he suspects its you.
