Default Expansion tank level sensor

I need a new water level sensor for the coolant expansion tank in my 3DR.

Can't get hold of one for a Sierra anywhere, but the sensors on Mk3 escorts and early Scorpio's look like they're the same, and seem to be readily available.

Can anyone confirm whether or not either of these parts will fit the Cossie?

The part number for the level switch is 1654799 for the UK market and 1654800 for the German market. I have actually no clue why those would be different. But anyway, it is the exact same part as the level switch on the windscreen washer bottle of the Sierra mk2 and the Granada mk3 (from 1986-1992), depending on the luxury level of the car. The Granada mk3 also has the switch on the expansion tank for some models.
