Default 8J wheels on a saph

8j x 17 Will they cause any problems or a straight fit?

Cheers

Fit straight on....you may have to roll your front arches slightly.

What size tyres would you fit? I asked a few weeks ago but didn't get a conclusive answer.

I ran 205/40's but I found some tyre makes we're alot skinnier than others. At one point I had khumo 205/40's on the front and falken 215/40 on the rear and the falken a were more stretched than the 205 khumo's

Think you can get 225s on the back without mods? As Paul says, the front arches will need rolled.

Cheers for the replies, think I'll leave it. I don't wanna get the arches rolled.

The Rouse Saffs had 225 tyres from new, depends mostly on your ride height and the et of the wheels.
No point in getting 8" wheel for a 205 tyre.
225/35 17 are an equivalent overall diameter to the original 205/50 15.
