Hello peeps been a while had to have a break many things have happened, had a baby boy Brennan (shovel hands) who's now 5months 2 weeks old and I snapped both my achilles tendons and tore ligaments so couldn't work on car so fucked it off (not got rid of her) and fucked this off too (PF) as it was getting me down coming on here and not being able to do anything!
Anyhow onwards and upwards I'm back fighting fit back training again and finally after 6months have a mt75 rwd prop (think the 1 fitted is off Granada as its slightly to long), may also have sorted starter wont know until I fit prop and visit dojj.......
Right as for you mk22door I did txt u dnt know if u got it I will sort you that bit out I have not forgotten or I can sort you some £...
As its been so long I lost my list of things to do, off top of my head I got to fit new prop, fit the new speedo cable I got this week wire in a relay for fuel pump and 2 relays for twin fans change spark plugs and leads and get her started hopefully

because i'd get into trouble selling it to you without posting it in the correct room for items for sale, i'm just letting you know i have found one whilst the old man was sorting the garage and it's got lots of dirty grease all over his hands
when you come to collect the other stuff we can sort out a price that you want to pay for it

Congratulations to you and your Mrs with little Brennan
The achilles tendons sounds painful
As for the Saff, sometimes it's best just to leave it and have a break so you don't get too fed up and sell it on, glad to see your back on with it though - you will get there!
I get fed up of reading/looking at nice Sierra's on here too while I smoke round in the 1.8 hatch lool!

I have got to go collect the braided fuel pump loom this week also fitted rear seat bolsters. Been busy doing Mrs car as wheel bearing failed and clutch/gearbox

It's been shite hasn't it!
I finally removed the full loom from the 4x4 (in the pissing rain) not the best day to do it but I was sick of seeing the shell sat there.
Keep at it mate, one day soon it'll all make sense

As of today my saph 24v should be finished before end of July I have provisionally sorted starter issue by having a recon company make me 1 gd starter out of 2 (take cog from 3 bolt starter and put in a 2 bolt starter) costing £90!
And next weekend I have someone local who builds sierra 24v's coming round to fit my fuel pump loom I now have and wire my twin fans and check al my wiring over then we will get it started!!!! Happy days then tax her and get her in use for few months till respray.........

Update time; getting close now she lives had her started today thanks to Simon Halls, he came to mine today as last weekend me the Mrs and 3boys all came down with gastro virus, he checked all wiring over that I had connected up all ok ! Then we set about stripping my gd 2 bolt 2.8 starter motor and a seized 3bolt 2.9 starter donated by dojj taking the 10 sided spline from the 2.9 and putting it in to the 2.8 starter as the company who were going to do it originally started messing me about, we got the engine firing over but no start up, after 3 cans of fuel and some persuation she fired into life all but briefly...... bet my neighbours loved it as she is currently only on down pipes now issue that has arose my fuel pump seems dead/fucked it used to be noisey now you can barely hear it! also spark plugs need replacing hence her not staying running so have ordered some
My main issue is my prop I have removed it and it is 110% a 2ltr sierra twin cam prop so why is it so tight a few people have said i need an escos donut as theyre slightly thinner than the one I'm using!

I mean I bolt end to diff and other too gearbox I basically have to force centre up with gd pressure to bolt it up, so its tighter than it should be, so tigh if I try to move car rear wheels do not turn but with prop removed all moves ok!
