9x16 215/40 ET35 on Sapphire?
#2
Thats a pretty wide wheel, the escort cosworth rims are 8 x 16 and i know that to get them on safs you have to roll the front arches, also saf wheels are ET40 from the factory and when i fitted a set of ET38 17 inch RS 7 Spokes to my 4x4 , i found that they were catching on the front brake calipers, so i had to fit 3 mm spacer plates on the fronts. I think that you will find that the rear of the car will not be a problem, you can get 18's on the back of a saf without any rubbing but the fronts will probably give you major trouble

Oh yeah but the front wheels will only be 7.5x16, so that shouldnt be a problem
And the car is only a 2.0 GT DOCH, not a cossie(we pay 180% tax on top of the price of the car in this glorius country) so the front brakes arnt as big, so that shouldnt be a problem either
But U dont think fitting 9`s on the rear will be a problem, that`s great tanx m8
