Don't say that in the Escort room or they'll lynch you
I hate driving Escorts Cosworths, they just don't feel planted. Randomly the mk5/6 RS 2000 seem to be better put together!

I'm happy enough now got the car I dreamt of as a kid and favoured it over any of the cosworth range purely for the looks... Glad I didn't sell when I had a blonde moment...

No none of those reasons it's the fact the interior in the mk1 is so bad I'd have to blind fold myself to get in it hence I'd crash a lot

In my eyes a car is worth what any body is willing to pay for it ... A lot better cars out there for 20k you wouldn't want to drive this if you bought it !

A 2wd saff is the best of the bunch as far as stiffness is concerned and yes I'd have another but there isn't a good one about unless it has a drug induced price tag lol

Have to agree with that James, I think there would probably be a lot less people questioning the price tag then lol, don't get me wrong, I think its overpriced but at least he knows if someone's coming to view it they'll probably be serious about it and then can discuss the price from there.

Assuming everything is true regarding mileage/condition etc what have similar cars with that mileage gone for recently? Anyone bought a really low miler in the last year?

20k£ seems a bit high but imagine a rich rich rich car collector who only happens to want a low mileage Saph. He will buy it. For someone, 20k£ is the same as 20£ for the other.
People buy some of the rarest 60's muscle cars for 200 000 - 300 000 $ or even more. That kind of money for a old piece of steel with no handling at all?
Offcourse the Saph Cosworth prices will go up, but it'll take some time. Though still the rarest of the Cosworth models will be the priciest, 3drs and EsCos'. Remember it's always the supply vs. demand.
