Default 2WD Saph's distributor cap loose

Been getting an occasional big backfiring misfire under heavy load/high revs on my Saph.... Noticed that the cap is quite loose, and at one point one of the securing clips actually popped off!

Can you get new clips for the dizzy? Bending it doesn't seem to help...
Cap isn't that old, wondering if some are maybe not moulded that well and not the right shape?
Anyone else had this problem?

I had the same issue on my old Sapph but I just bent my clips, which made it a right bugger to get on because they were so tight . Unsure why bending them isnt helping yours.
