Default Broken rear wheel stud

Does any one know how to replace a single wheel stud on the rear of a saph cossie? I have managed to snap one! I know they are sold separately from Ford (49p). Many thanks.

If its anything like my fiesta setup, I replaced a front one, just removed the disc and caliper then drove it out from the front with a centre punch, then just put new one in and pulled in using the wheel and a nut then refitted disc and caliper only took about 20 minutes, hope this helps

You just need to bang it out, through the rear of the hub, with a hammer. If it's sheared off flush with the surface you will need a suitable prop to hit it with. Best advice is to replace all 4 of them, as the others may have been weakened if you lost the stud due to wheelnuts working loose.

Default All Done

All fixed. Just knocked the snapped one straight out and pulled the new one in with a spare nut.

Many thanks

Nice one. BTW I used to live in Guildford, many years ago. Is it still as awful as I remember it?
